In this sense, PlasTHER COST Action aims at establishing a synergistic networkthat articulates researchers, the medical community, industry and patient associations, among others, and coordinate the European activity in this domain to foster the leadership of Europe in this emerging field.

The Final Meeting of COST Action PlasTHER, which will also mark the final meeting of our action, will take place in Barcelona from the 17th to 20th June 2025.
The main aim of this COST Action has been to exploit the unprecedented possibilities of atmospheric pressure plasmas in medicine to share, develop and consolidate suitable therapies currently under investigation to make Europe’s science and healthcare world leaders in this field.
The Final Meeting represents a crucial moment to meet each other, wrap up the main oblectives of the project and continue building up our community in order to keep addressing our common objective of improving the performance of plasma therapies for the benefit of the patients.
During the meeting, we will focus on the COST tasks of all our working groups, working together for the production of the specific final deliverables. Also, it is of great importance to present the results of the STSMs performed in the last year among PlasTHER members.
